The disk contains 20 samples

The TR-909 contains mostly analog created sounds, except for the hi-hat,
ride cymbal and crash cymbal which are PCM (sampled) sounds.

The TR-909 has 11 sounds;

- bass drum           - hi tom
- snare drum          - mid tom
- closed hi-hat       - lo tom
- open hi-hat         - hand clap
- ride cymbal         - rim shot
- crash cymbal

As it's possible to adjust the sounds, I've sampled different settings of the
different sounds. The controls for the various sounds are as follows:

- bass drum: "tune" tunes the drum, from a sort of electronic bass drum to the
usual 909 bass drum, "attack" adjusts the 'click' at the attack, to a more
'dull' attack, "decay" adjusts the duration of the bass drum.
 * there are several bass drum samples of different settings on the disk.

- snare drum: "tone" adjusts the snare from a 'dull' "pongg" sound to a sharp
'white noise' type snare, "snappy" adjusts the 'hardness' (or 'brightness') of
the snare, i.e. the amount of white noise in the snare.
 * there are several snare drum samples of the different settings on the disk.

- toms: "tune" tunes the toms, "decay" adjusts the duration of the toms.

- closed hi-hat: "decay" adjusts the duration. (PCM sample originally)
  (sampled at neutral (mid) setting with decay at max. -adjust TX16W envelope
  generator (EG) for shorter duration)

- open hi-hat: "decay" adjusts the duration. (PCM sample originally)
  (sampled at neutral (mid) setting with decay at max. -adjust TX16W envelope
  generator (EG) for shorter duration)

- crash cymbal: "tune" tunes the cymbal. (PCM sample originally)
 * sampled at neutral (mid) setting

- ride cymbal: "tune" tunes the cymbal. (PCM sample originally)
 * sampled at neutral (mid setting)

- rimshot: no adjustment

- handclap: no adjustment

In addition to these, ALL sounds have level adjustments, and an individual
output (open/closed hi-hats share one output). there is also a stereo out.
The TR-909's sounds are velocity sensitive (via MIDI), and all sounds can be
externally controlled via MIDI (sequencer etc.)

*** PS *** Instead of sampling all sorts of different settings of tht toms,
I found a compromise, so that all the settings could more or less be
emulated with just using three tom samples (all of them were sampled with
decay at max.- adjust TX16W envelope generator (EG) for lower decay settings):
